This Leverhulme Trust funded project is investigating the role of a small mid-brain structure called the superior colliculus (SC) in the planning and executing of goal-directed eye movements. Specifically, we are interested in exploring how processes such as response preparation are encoded in the human superior colliculus.  We are addressing these questions using a mixture of both univariate (GLM) and multivariate analysis (MVPA) of fMRI data.
